Accountant

What do you do for the school?  

I am the accountant for the school. I pay the bills and keep the schools financial records.

How long have you been working in this role? 

I worked 3 years for the Pima Community Services Department prior to this job.

Why did you choose this profession? 

A former Supervisor got me interested in accounting and encouraged me to go back to school for training.

What are your thoughts about Pima Vocational High School?

I think PVHS is a good place for students that do not want to go to a public high school but would like to receive a high school diploma.  PVHS teachers are wonderful and really do care about the students success.

What are your thoughts about the students attending P.V.H.S.?   

PVHS is a good place for students that need encouragement and guidance.  

How do you feel about the vocational training programs?  

Vocational training teaches the students about responsibility and gives them some valuable work experience.

What are your hopes for students in the future?

I hope the students continue their education beyond high school, that they will be successful, and enjoy what they do in life.
